I recently did a trade with the lovely Sarah McNeil who sent me, among other little pretty prints and things, a pet portrait of my puppydog Tova.





Everything Sarah makes is so delicate and pretty, I am very happy to have this piece on my wall!

I really don't like moleskines or microns UNLESS I'm in a completely mind-numbing situation like an airport or doctor's office waiting room. Or all that drawing I did in the back seat of the car last summer. Or today's lecture on sustainability.

childhood eyeballs

Really liking this large eyeball/eyelid/eyebrow combo and can't stop drawing girls that have it. Chelsey and I have named the combo "Childhood Eyeballs" after the enormous, enormous eyes I had as a little kid. Also related is the angry, furrowed-brow grimace I called "Hairy Eyeball".
